My Style

The central idea behind my photos is to capture your special event without any interference or direction from me. The result of this realistic approach are photographs that are a true representation of your special day.

    Traditionally, event photography was almost always limited to stiff posses without much regard for the underlying story and emotion behind the event. Also, the photographer's role use to dominate and overshadow the entire wedding as if this were his special day.

   In my work, I bring enthusiasm and honest emotion to every one of my images.  I am strongly influenced by both current trends in event photography and by the magic of your one-in-a-lifetime day. My main objective is to capture and create images you will treasure forever, yet without disrupting the sanctity of the moment.  I consider myself to be a photographer with a unique vision. Although I call myself a portrait journalism event photographer, my work leans from the “informal-formals” of the photojournalistic style all the way the to fine art and fashion styles of portrait journalism. The images I create are a unique blend of documentary and fine art. 

* Formal-style photos will only take 20-30 minutes, so you can enjoy your day without the burden of a annoying, bossy and directive photographer. 
 

* Quick turn-around, you will have your images on CD and online within 21 days.

* I edit and color correct EACH and every image.

* I am known for capturing the small meaningful moments that encapsulate the day’s events.

 * I have an extensive history in portrait, lifestyle, and children photography. 

* Packages are available for all budgets and times.

 


Through my viewfinder, I always look for that "look" between a loving couple.  It is unmistakable! It's my goal to be your eyes and capture all the magic moments you will miss.

 


     I grew up with pictures of people's faces far and tiny in all photos; it was always frustrating trying to really capture the essence of the person with shots like that.  I find it important to get up close to each person and capture real expressions.  I do not touch up any photos, I simply present it in a creative way that best accompanies the emotions shown. 

 

 

    
    Magical moments happen when you least expect them, I am always ready! You don't need a "posed picture" to appreciate this image! I tell my customers not to pose for me, to simply ignore me during the non-formal pictures. That way the sacredness of the moment is preserved and viewers are allowed to "peak into" the past as they walk past your album. 
 
  
 

 
     It's an honor and a very important responsibility to be part of your special day. I respect the sanctity of  this moment and  make sure your memories are preserved with great through high resolution images, creativity and enthusiasm. 
  
 
     In all my packages you get  ALL your images in color on a CD, and in an online album where you can order more prints yourself years later, as well as be able to share with family and friends.  You may also purchase black & white, sepia or mixed (Black and white and sepia) of all your images for only $90 for all your picture files, no matter how many pictures you have!!
 
 
 
 
     Art and beauty are everywhere But, it's up to an artist's mind to see them.  You might hire an event photographer, but only a person who is both an artist on top of knowledge of the technical qualities of photography will truly capture the small meaningful moments that tell the whole story. 
 
 


     Formals are a small, yet essential part of all my packages. We usually pre-schedule to spend 1/2 hour (at most) on formals and the rest are all in the more relaxed photo-journalistic style so you can enjoy YOUR day and I can have a chance to really capture the real emotions of the day as they unfold. 
 
 
 
    You never know when the shot will present itself to you. 
 
 
 
 The little details of your event are also included and are just as important as any image in your package.  The shoes, the dress, the tables, the flowers, the nervous look on the groom.....an artistic photographer does not miss these shots.
